Efficiency

 

The Drive Efficiency of Harmonic Gear is mainly affected by the ratio, as chart in left.

Beside ratio, such as input rotation speed, lubricant,setting temperature will affect the gears drive efficency.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Output Torque Capacity

There are three output torque classes of harmonic gear for the customer may refer in chossing a harmonic gear.

1. The Rated Output Torque (Tn) for all models products as following table:

2. Repeatable Overload Torque(Tg)

    In case the system encounters acceleration/deceleration or frequent impacts during its run, the torque can be sustained by the drive gear. To ensure the safe working of the component sets of the harmonic gear, the Tg should be kept below 1.7 times Tn.

 

3. Peak Overload Torque (Tm)

   This grade is the maximal torque that can be with-stood by the harmonic gear.Tm=2.7Tn. In no case is this torque allowed to be exceeded in the run of the system, or the harmonic gear may otherwise be damaged.


Torsional Rigidity

Ka: Torsional rigidity coefficient, including the range from pure backlash       to elastic twist of the output shaft to about 20% of rated torque.

 

kb:  Torisonal rigidity coefficient,covering the range thereafter to the rated torque,for elastic twist of the shaft.
